Sarah's Place
Haverhill’s
newest adult day health center, Sarah’s Place was created by the
dedication and commitment of three area agencies committed to the care of
elders. Bethany Homes, Penacook Place, and the Northeast Family YMCA
worked together to receive a grant through the George Wadleigh Foundation
to open Sarah’s Place.
Sarah’s Place offers services Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.
to 4 p.m. Participants will be encouraged to participate in a wide
range of activities that will stimulate, enrich, and maintain their interests
and abilities. A light breakfast, lunch and snack will be served
daily. Transportation is available through the center’s van.
Sarah’s Place will offer therapeutic activities to promote health, socialization,
and improved well-being. In addition to recreation, Sarah’s Place
