Bethany Community ServicesManagement CompanyBethany Community Services (BCS) manages all Bethany buildings, Sarah’s Place, the Ornsteen Building, and provides maintenance for several other sites. Bethany has also entered an agreement to manage Nichols Village, a new senior living complex in Groveland, MA. The staff includes the President, Comptroller, Administrative Assistant and Financial Clerk. The management is active in government policy issues related to aging and seeks to develop new housing and supportive services for elders living in the Greater Haverhill area. Contacting Bethany Community Services. Friends of BethanyBCS raises funds with grants, bequests, spring telethon, Golden Gait walk, holiday fair, and a quarterly newsletter. All these moneys are used to provide supportive services that cannot be funded through rent moneys. BCS is a 501 (c) 3 charitable corporation and all gifts are tax deductible. Friends of Bethany will work with your professional to set up giving through wills and insurances. Food Services
Supportive ServicesBCS oversees and funds a wellness and mental health program, activities,
day trips in our own minibus, overnight trips by coach and air transportation,
transportation for shopping, doctors and banking, personal assistance,
shopping and housekeeping services for residents at all of the managed
sites. Many of these services are subsidized to the income of the
resident and some provide the assistance of a staff member on the trip.
Services are never a part of the rent but are paid for a la carte.
Individuals 62 years of age or older living in the community may join
Bethany for a nominal annual fee and participate in any of these activities
